L’Auditori transforms with a waterfall of light and digital art at Llum BCN 2026

Llum BCN 2026 arrives with free light installations at L’Auditori. Discover a real and digital waterfall, and two unique university projects. Poblenou will shine as never before. Do not miss it.

The Llum BCN 2026 festival returns from 6 to 8 February and promises to surprise Barcelona with an unprecedented light experience. For the fourth consecutive year, L’Auditori becomes one of the main venues, offering free access to three installations that fuse art, technology and nature.

The Llanterna de L’Auditori will be the epicentre of Next Nature II, an interactive work by Rotor Studio. This installation, created by Ángeles Angulo and Román Torre, combines a real waterfall with a digital one projected onto a translucent screen. The public will be able to interact with the digital waterfall, which reacts to visitors’ movements, creating a space where the natural and the artificial merge in an unexpected balance.

In addition, L’Auditori will host two proposals from Barcelona university schools. Hexalux, by the Escuela Superior de Diseño (ESDI), invites visitors to explore a unique visual experience. Meanwhile, Tábula, developed by LCI Barcelona, offers a haven of emotional respite amid the bustle of the festival.

Poblenou will once again be the heart of light in the city, bringing together international artists and local talent in an edition that promises to make its mark on the European light-art scene.
