Lewandowski bids farewell to Barça amid ovations and emotion at Camp Nou
Camp Nou witnessed one of those nights that feel like the end of an era. Robert Lewandowski played his final match as a FC Barcelona player, and the farewell was more emotional than it was about goals. The Polish striker, who announced this week that he will leave the club at the end of the season, was given a standing ovation by the crowd and embraced by teammates and coaching staff in an atmosphere filled with nostalgia.
Although Barça beat Betis and ended an almost perfect season at home, much of the attention was on Lewandowski. The striker left the pitch to applause and banners of thanks after four seasons in which he scored more than one hundred goals and helped the team regain competitive stature after Messi's departure.

In recent weeks, names such as Julián Álvarez, Osimhen and João Pedro have emerged among the possible candidates to lead the new Barça forward line.
Beyond the numbers, Lewandowski's figure leaves its mark on a young dressing room that found in him a competitive and professional reference point. Flick insisted that many players in the squad see him as an example of discipline and longevity at the highest level.
The farewell also had something symbolic for the club. Lewandowski was one of the major signings of the post-Messi era and his arrival coincided with the start of Barça's sporting reconstruction. Four years later, he leaves with several league titles, national trophies and the sense of having helped return the team to the forefront of European football.
