The best Michelin-starred dishes for €6: Tast a La Rambla

Discovering dishes by Barcelona’s Michelin-starred chefs for €6 is possible this weekend at Tast a La Rambla. From 28 to 31 May, Plaça de Catalunya becomes the meeting point to enjoy iconic delicacies in an open, dynamic and flavour-filled atmosphere, in what is already the spring gastronomy festival.

Tast a la Rambla is one of the few meeting points where the city’s most important restaurants, bars and pastry shops come together to champion local, neighbourhood cuisine, good produce alongside haute cuisine.

The restaurants at Tast a La Rambla

In this year’s edition, a total of 30 restaurants and 6 pastry shops are taking part in the event at Plaça Catalunya. Between them, along with the guest chefs who will lead live cooking sessions, they will bring together 13 Michelin Stars and 18 Repsol Suns.

They will offer a quality gastronomic proposal in tapas format for 6 tokens (€6). The advantage: a free space for everyone, open to the public and accessible thanks to its low price.

Live chef demonstrations

Tast a La Rambla is much more, and it is also known for its live demonstrations. There are workshops, tastings, showcookings and chefs cooking to order. Another attraction that enhances the city’s gastronomy.

This year, the classroom will also travel towards other horizons with proposals such as cheese or wine tastings and the ‘Andorra, High Mountain Gastronomy’ showcookings, a cuisine born from the unique topography of the neighbouring country. The workshops have a capacity of 22 people per session and are free.
