New iPhones arrive in Madrid and Barcelona on 18 September: prices from 1,469 euros
The new devices Apple presented this Wednesday 9 September already have a date for arriving in Spanish shops. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max can be pre-ordered from Saturday 12 September and will go on sale on Friday the 18th, a week in which Apple shop windows in Madrid and Barcelona will change generation.
The increase is also noticeable in the price. The iPhone 18 Pro will start at €1,469 with 256 GB of storage, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max will start at €1,619, also with 256 GB. That is €150 more than the launch prices of last year's equivalent iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models.
Anyone wanting to buy one directly in Barcelona will have two official Apple Stores: Passeig de Gràcia, 1, beside Plaça Catalunya, and La Maquinista, on Passeig de Potosí. In Madrid city, the two company-owned outlets are Puerta del Sol, 1, and La Vaguada, on Avenida de Monforte de Lemos. The region also has official shops in shopping centres in Arroyomolinos, Leganés and Majadahonda.
The new watches will arrive on the same 18 September. The Apple Watch Series 12 will start at €449, while the new Apple Watch Ultra 4 will be priced at around €899 for its entry-level version. Both incorporate a new generation of sensors and processors, although Apple once again keeps the Series as the clearly more affordable option compared with the Ultra.
There will also be a refresh of the headphones. The AirPods 5 will be available from 18 September and will come in two versions. Apple has announced US prices of $129 and $149 depending on configuration, but at the time this edition closed, the Spanish store still did not consistently display the final prices in euros. That is why those figures should not automatically be converted to €129 or €149.
The event's other major new product was the iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable. Its timetable will differ from that of the Pro models: information published around the presentation places its arrival later, probably in October, at a US price close to $2,000. Its specific availability and final price in Spain still need confirmation before it can be said when it can be collected in Madrid or Barcelona.
The standard iPhone 18 will not be in shops this September either. Apple has concentrated its autumn launch on the Pro models and moved the standard model to a later phase of its calendar, probably in 2027.
For anyone wanting to get one of the confirmed models on the first day, the key date will therefore be Saturday 12 September, when reservations begin. The following Friday, the 18th, deliveries and in-store sales will begin at Apple Stores in Madrid and Barcelona, always subject to available stock of each configuration.
