Catalan motorway tolls will rise by around 3% in 2026
Travelling on motorways managed by the Generalitat will cost a little more next year. From 2026, regional tolls will apply an average increase of around 3%, an automatic adjustment linked to October’s CPI and traffic performance during the last financial year.
One of the most notable increases will be felt in the Vallvidrera tunnels. Off-peak passage will be set at €4.70, while at peak time it will reach €5.28, consolidating this access as one of the most expensive in the Barcelona area for daily journeys.
On the C-32, between Castelldefels and Sitges, the full journey will cost €8.42 for cars and €4.05 for motorbikes. Those who are required to use this road for work reasons will continue to have discounts, although under strict conditions: only on weekdays and provided the outward and return journeys are made on the same day. Otherwise, the full fare will apply.
The tolls on the southern section of the C-32 are also being updated. In Cubelles, passage for non-regular vehicles will be €5.03; the intermediate access will cost €2.69 and the Calafell toll will be €0.79.
The review, published in the DOGC, confirms that Catalan tolls will continue to be adjusted each year according to inflation and the actual use of infrastructure, a system that keeps fares under constant review and will once again directly affect the pockets of regular drivers
