Madrid opens applications for 422 public flats with pool and garage from 574 euros

Renting in Madrid continues to shape many everyday decisions. Next week, people looking for housing will have a new option: at 9 am on Tuesday 3 March, applications will open for one of the 422 public flats being built by the Comunidad de Madrid in Pinto under the Plan Vive. The first tenants could move in in April, with prices starting at €574 per month.

The development includes one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, all with access to parking and communal facilities such as a swimming pool and gym. In the current context, these details make a difference for many families and young people seeking stability without giving up basic amenities.

Since early February, the show flat at 2 Isaac Albéniz Street (Portal B2, Ground Floor I) has been open for visits without an appointment. Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 14:00 to 20:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 15:00. The first homes are expected to be allocated on 9 March, and applications are managed online through the Sogeviso website, the company responsible for the project.

Interest in this type of development continues to grow. The regional minister for Housing, Transport and Infrastructure, Jorge Rodrigo, highlighted during his visit to the show flat the expectation these processes generate among Madrid residents. It is no surprise: in some neighbourhoods, rental prices have risen by around 20% in the past year, making every new call for applications a much-awaited opportunity.
