Madrid screens the films nominated for the Goyas
In Madrid, audiences can be the first to see the finalist films for the Goya Awards and explore the diversity of contemporary Spanish cinema.
Sala Berlanga hosts the Fundación SGAE cycle, which presents 32 works selected this year, from intimate dramas to major productions, including documentaries and animation. The programme combines established names, such as Alejandro Amenábar and Carla Simón, with new talent bringing fresh perspectives to national cinema. The candidates include Los domingos, Sirat and La cena, as well as animation titles and music documentaries.
According to SGAE, the showcase anticipates the official ceremony on 28 February in Barcelona and demonstrates the quality of Spanish cinema, allowing the public to discover the diversity and richness of today’s audiovisual industry.
