April fills Madrid with cultural events, theatre, and major happenings
Madrid welcomes April with a schedule that transforms the pace of the city. Exhibitions, theatre, concerts, and festivals take place across neighbourhoods and cultural spaces, offering activities for all audiences throughout the month.
The first few days combine major dates such as Holy Week with notable cultural events. The Museo del Prado and the Galería de las Colecciones Reales are making the most of their exhibitions, while theatre takes centre stage with productions such as “1984” at Fernán Gómez.
