Metrópolis on the Gran Vía is reborn: a boutique hotel, restaurants and an exclusive club transform the legendary building
The Metrópolis building on the Gran Vía reopens its doors, transforming from a symbol of offices of the past into a private space with a hotel, dining and an exclusive club.
The historic building has opened a new chapter in its history. After a large-scale reconstruction, the former office block has become a premium space with a private club, a boutique hotel and dining areas.
The project is being developed by the Paraguas group, known for several of the capital’s landmark restaurants. The refurbished complex combines public and private areas, preserving the original architectural character and adding a modern touch.
Some of the spaces are open to all visitors, while the rest are reserved exclusively for club members. The complex is due to open fully in the coming months, when the terrace beneath the famous Metrópolis dome will also be inaugurated.
