Momad turns IFEMA into a showcase for international fashion

IFEMA Madrid once again becomes the main meeting point for the fashion industry this week with a new edition of Momad. The International Fashion, Footwear and Accessories Fair brings together nearly 200 national and international brands until Saturday, presenting their collections for the Spring/Summer 2027 season.

The event occupies 3,600 square metres of Pavilion 5 and brings together women’s fashion, occasionwear, footwear, accessories, swimwear and resortwear. For three days, manufacturers, distributors, buyers and sector professionals share a space designed to discover new products and create business opportunities.

One aim of this edition is to strengthen the international reach of participating brands. To that end, Momad has organised a programme that will bring together around fifty buyers from Europe, Latin America and Asia, encouraging direct contact between companies and overseas markets.

Among the brands present are Vilagallo, Alba Conde, NKN Nekane, Saint James, Rinascimento, Victoria, ECCO, RIA Menorca and Sonia Peña. Designers Sandra Botero and Pilar del Campo, winners of the latest Momad Talents edition, will also take part with their own spaces to show their collections.

The fair also incorporates new themed areas. Focus Brand brings together brands with a distinctive creative identity, while Zona Best Sellers concentrates some of the commercial lines with greatest demand. It also includes Boutique Consciente, dedicated to projects working with sustainable materials and responsible production models.

The catwalk is also introducing a new format with collective shows and proposals dedicated to emerging talent. In parallel, Momad Talks will offer conferences and round tables on artificial intelligence, sustainability, the circular economy, brand building and changes in fashion retail.

Beyond the collections, Momad has become a strategic fixture for a sector seeking to adapt to new consumption habits and strengthen its international presence. The fair is a meeting point for spotting trends, making contacts and analysing how the market is evolving.

For three days, IFEMA will concentrate much of Spain’s sector activity. The venue will once again bring together designers, manufacturers, buyers and distributors in an edition combining business, creativity and innovation and marking the start of the next season for many brands.
