Más Madrid proposes price controls and municipal supermarkets
The cost of groceries is once again at the centre of debate in Madrid. The regional Assembly is discussing a proposal from Más Madrid to create a network of public supermarkets and cap the price of basic goods such as bread, milk, meat, and fruit.
