Former Espanyol president Ferran Martorell dies aged 84

Ferran Martorell was president of Espanyol for a few months in 1989, at a particularly delicate moment for the club. He took office after Antoni Baró's resignation and led the institutional transition by calling the club's first democratic elections, in which he decided not to stand.
