On Thursday, Christmas Day, fog will remain in the south of the peninsula, the north-west and the northern half. Snowfall is expected in the Pyrenees, inland Comunidad Valenciana and the central system. Rain, accompanied by storms, will affect the Balearic Islands and possibly the Canary Islands. Wind will be strong in the Canary archipelago. All Spanish coasts will have rough seas, with waves of 3 to 5 metres. Lows will barely vary, but highs will fall by a few degrees.

On Friday, morning fog will dominate in many regions. It will rain in the Balearic Islands and Ceuta, with a risk of storms. In the centre of the peninsula, precipitation will fall as snow in the central system, the Pyrenees and inland Valencia. The sea will remain difficult around the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, the Galician coast and the Mediterranean, with waves of 2 to 3 metres. Temperatures, both minimum and maximum, will fall.

In Barcelona, Wednesday will be marked by cloudy skies and some clear spells. Light rain is expected and minimum temperatures will be unchanged, although highs will rise by one or two degrees. On Thursday, the city will wake with fog inland and overcast skies. Precipitation will be more likely in the first half of the day. The sea will be rough, with waves of 2 to 3 metres. Lows will hold steady, but highs will fall slightly.

On Friday, Barcelona will begin with rain, which could be snow in the mountains and, intermittently, sleet in other areas. Precipitation will lessen in the afternoon. The sea will remain rough and temperatures will fall in both lows and highs.
