New Year’s Eve 2026 in Barcelona: fireworks, music and parties to see out the year

Barcelona is preparing to bid farewell to 2025 and welcome 2026 with an agenda packed with proposals for every taste. The city will offer fireworks displays, drone shows and music on the Reina Maria Cristina avenue, as well as parties in nightclubs, markets and theatres.
On the night of 31 December, the Reina Maria Cristina avenue will be the epicentre of the official celebration. From 22:00, the public will be able to enjoy a revamped show with musical direction by Marc Parrot, featuring the Font Màgica de Montjuïc and integrating pyrotechnics and drones. The event will be broadcast live by betevé from 23:30, presented by Candela Figueras and Anna-Priscila Magriñà, with commentary by Laura Suñol and Roger Torres.
Mercat de la Barceloneta will hold its own early New Year's Eve at 12:00 noon, with musical entertainment and the midnight chimes for those who prefer to celebrate earlier. In the Marina neighbourhood, the pre-midnight chimes will take place on 27 December from 22:00, with live music, fireworks and a festive atmosphere until midnight.
The city's nightclubs and venues are also joining the party. Razzmatazz will offer two ticket options and a varied programme of reggaeton, afrobeats, house and trance. Heliogabal, Laut, Sala Apolo, Moog, Poble Espanyol, Antic Teatre, La Paloma, Casino L’Aliança del Poblenou, Jamboree, Sala Upload and Rouge have prepared themed parties, DJ sets and live performances to welcome the new year.
Barcelona's theatres are not being left behind either. La Villarroel, Teatre Romea, Teatre Condal, Versus Glòries, Teatre La Fàbrica, Teatre Maldà and Teatre Borràs will offer special New Year's Eve performances, many of them accompanied by the midnight chimes and a festive atmosphere.
The city will also have other Christmas activities, such as the traditional Three Kings parade, special lighting and cultural proposals for all audiences. Barcelona thus consolidates its position as one of the liveliest destinations for celebrating the arrival of 2026.
