Oasis returns to Barcelona after 18 years: how to get tickets
Oasis will return to the Barcelona area after 18 years. The band of Liam and Noel Gallagher has confirmed two concerts at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on 10 and 11 July 2027, as part of a new world tour that will take the group through Reino Unido, Europe, Estados Unidos e Irlanda.
Getting a ticket, however, will require a mandatory preliminary step. Oasis will not hold a general public sale: anyone wishing to buy must first register before 5:00 pm on Thursday, 17 September, Spanish mainland time. Being on the band's mailing list does not replace this requirement.
Registration does not guarantee a ticket. Buyers will be selected from among those registered and will receive a personal code to access one of the sales periods scheduled between 25 and 27 September. The system is intended to manage demand, which already caused significant problems during the band's first reunion tour.
The announced prices for Barcelona range from 85 to 255 euros, depending on the chosen seat. Transaction fees may be added to this amount. There will be no subsequent general sale for those who have not completed the registration process in advance.
The Barcelona dates are part of Oasis Live '27, a tour of 38 concerts. Before arriving at Montjuïc, the band will play in Glasgow, Manchester y Múnich; afterwards, they will continue to Ámsterdam, París y Roma before heading to Estados Unidos. The tour will end in September with concerts in Ireland and four nights at Knebworth, three decades after Oasis's historic performances there in 1996.
The announcement also puts an end to several days of speculation about Barcelona. At the beginning of September, Oasis released videos with clues about the possible tour cities. One of them featured a Spanish guitar and a print by Joan Miró, a combination that many fans immediately interpreted as a reference to the Catalan capital.
The Gallaghers had appeared together shortly before at the Venice Festival to present Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger, the documentary dedicated to the group's reunion and their 2025 tour. The film includes footage of rehearsals, concerts, and joint interviews with Liam y Noel after years of estrangement.
The 2025 tour marked Oasis's return to the stage after their 2009 split. Barcelona was not included in that tour, so the July 2027 shows will be the group's first in the metropolitan area since their concert for around 15,000 people at the Pavelló Olímpic de Badalona in February 2009.
The countdown to the concerts, therefore, begins well before July. For fans who want to be at the Estadi Olímpic, the first important date is this Thursday, 17 September: once registration closes, they will no longer be able to join the regular sales process announced by the band.
