Orusco de Tajuña makes it easier to pay taxes and municipal charges online
Residents of Orusco de Tajuña can now pay taxes and municipal charges from home. The Town Hall is launching a digital gateway that simplifies the process and avoids travel. The change affects key levies and streamlines local administration.
Orusco de Tajuña Town Council has taken a step forward in the digitalisation of its municipal services. From this week, residents can pay local taxes and fees through a new online gateway available on the municipal website. The system makes it possible to pay by card simply and securely, without having to go to the offices in person.
The platform, managed through CaixaBank’s collection system, allows payment of taxes such as IBI, IVTM or IAE, as well as enforcement bills and capital gains tax. The process is straightforward: simply access the website, select the ‘Payment Gateway’ option and follow the steps requested by the system, entering the bill identification number, reference and amount. For those who want a receipt, they only need to add their email address before completing the payment with the card details.
The IVTM payment period began this Monday, and the mayor, Vanesa Gracia, has said that making these procedures easier is an obligation for public administrations, in line with what other municipalities already offer. The measure aims to save residents time and adapt to the new forms of digital management already spreading across the region.
