Ouigo warms up for autumn: tickets from €9 to travel around Spain
This autumn, travelling by train will not only be fast and comfortable, but also cheap.
Ouigo, the low-cost rail operator, has launched a new campaign with tickets from just €9 for journeys between 15 October and 13 December. With the ingenious slogan “We are not birds, but we plan very well”, the company invites people to explore the country without taking their feet off the ground.
From Barcelona, users will be able to travel to Madrid and Zaragoza on direct trains. To reach other cities included in the promotion — such as Valencia, Tarragona, Alicante and Albacete — it will be necessary to change at one of those two stations.
The offer is available only on Ouigo’s website and promises to fill carriages with urban getaways, reunions and improvised weekends. The initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to affordable and sustainable mobility, just when the price of transport is more decisive than ever.
And although this promotion focuses on autumn, those aged between 18 and 30 can still take advantage of the final days of the Verano Joven discount, valid until 30 September, to travel around the country at reduced fares.
