Pedro Sánchez reappears in Campamento and turns his visit into a party event

Pedro Sánchez has once again turned the spotlight on Campamento, an area that had been stalled for months, by visiting it with three ministers and the government delegate. The visit, held six months after obtaining the licence to reactivate the area, left out the City Council and local figures such as Reyes Maroto.

The Prime Minister arrived greeting neighbourhood associations, recalling his time as a councillor and showing closeness to local residents. However, the presence of two ministers without responsibilities in housing drew attention, reinforcing the political nature of the event.

With just over a year to go before the elections, the visit transformed an institutional act into a party rally. Sánchez and his team are seeking to give political momentum to the Campamento initiative at a key moment for their party.
