Picas de la Rosa strengthens stable rentals in Barcelona with over 600 flats after its latest major acquisition
The management company adds 600 long-term rental homes after buying Ducat Finques for 50 million, and is preparing a key expansion despite regulations.
Picas de la Rosa is consolidating its position in Barcelona's property market following the purchase of Ducat Finques for €50 million. With this transaction, the management company has more than 600 homes for long-term rent, spread across the Catalan capital and its metropolitan area, and an asset value exceeding 350 million.
The company, founded in 2011 and led by Alejandro Picas de la Rosa, champions a professional management model that offers stability to landlords and tenants, moving away from tourist or temporary lets. It currently manages homes in L’Hospitalet, Sant Boi, Sabadell, Rubí, Castelldefels and Sant Cugat, with an average rent of around €1,000 a month.
The rental boom continues despite restrictive regulations in Barcelona. Some properties, such as a flat in Les Corts that received more than 100 applications in an hour, reflect the strong demand. The management company plans to open its first customer service office and expand its team to sustain growth.
Over the next three years, Picas de la Rosa aims to manage more than 3,000 homes, strengthening its role in residential mobility in the city.
