Barcelona sets a record with Seafood and exceeds 35,500 professionals
Barcelona is strengthening its role in the global seafood industry following a record edition of Seafood. The Fira Gran Via venue brought together 35,500 professionals, the highest figure in the event’s 32 editions, consolidating the city as a key location for international business in the sector.
The fair has also grown in size. With almost 53,000 square metres occupied and the participation of 2,290 companies from 85 countries, the event has offered a larger and more dynamic space, where producers, distributors and experts have connected to explore new opportunities.
One of the main themes of this edition has been innovation. The new area dedicated to aquaculture and the debates on the geopolitical context have set the agenda, reflecting the challenges and transformations facing the industry.
