Madrid restaurants join the fight against hunger with the 'Alimentamos Cambios' campaign

Madrid once again demonstrates its most supportive side with the arrival of the “Restaurants Against Hunger” campaign, which this year brings together more than 120 restaurants, bars and cafés in the city. The initiative, carried out under “Alimentamos Cambios”, invites customers to contribute by ordering a solidarity dish, whose proceeds will be devoted entirely to fighting hunger and food insecurity in Spain.

In this edition, more than 360 establishments across the country have joined the project promoted by Acción contra el Hambre. Since its creation, more than 12,400 venues have taken part, helping to improve the lives of thousands of families. The money raised will make it possible to sustain entrepreneurship and training programmes in autonomous communities across the country, as well as support households that struggle to access adequate food, a reality currently affecting 13% of Spanish families.

In Madrid, the list of participating venues is extensive and includes well-known names such as Revoltosa, La Bola, Las Tortillas de Gabino, New York Burger, Los Torreznos, La Esquina del Real, Nunuka Bistró, Verdura & Brasa, Restaurante L’Albufera, UMusic Hotel Madrid, The Irish Rover, La Casa de Zhou and El Reloj de Harry & Sally, among many others. In this way, going out for lunch or dinner becomes a gesture that, as well as enjoying Madrid’s gastronomy, helps transform the reality of thousands of families who need it today.
