Rosalía announces world tour and will set aside four nights in Barcelona to present her new album

The Catalan artist has confirmed that she will appear in Barcelona in April, with four consecutive concerts that promise to be one of the year's most eagerly awaited musical events. Tickets will go on sale on 11 December.

With barely a decade-long career, Rosalía has become a central figure in contemporary music, capable of moving flamenco into unexpected territory and turning it into a global phenomenon. After debuting with Raül Refree on Los Ángeles in 2017, she burst onto the international scene with El mal querer, an academic project that ended up redefining her career and taking her to a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, the first for a Spanish artist.

Collaborations with names such as J Balvin, Ozuna and Travis Scott, huge tours and MOTOMAMI (2022) followed, an album that confirmed that her creative quest was not going to follow conventional paths. With LUX (2025), Rosalía once again expands the frame: she sings in 14 languages, engages with artists such as Björk and Yves Tumor, and embraces an expansive, theatrical and deeply experimental sound.

The tour will also travel through North America in 2026, but Rosalía's Barcelona concerts will have an obvious symbolic component: the artist's return to her city at the moment when her work reaches an unprecedented global scale. It remains to be seen how an album conceived almost as a futuristic opera will be brought to the stage, but what is clear is that Rosalía does not appear willing to repeat herself.
