Sant Cugat leads salaries in Catalonia and Barcelona comes third in 2024

Sant Cugat del Vallès is positioned as the municipality with the highest salaries in Catalonia among localities with more than 50,000 inhabitants. In 2024, its residents reached an average gross annual income of 54,549 euros, according to the latest published data.

Castelldefels is in second place, with an average salary of 38,570 euros. Barcelona, the Catalan capital, is in third position with an annual average of 36,466 euros.

At the opposite end of the ranking is Santa Coloma de Gramenet, where average annual income stands at 26,003 euros, marking the largest salary difference compared with Sant Cugat.

These figures reflect the economic gap between Catalan municipalities and highlight Sant Cugat’s privileged position in the regional landscape.
