Shakira expands her Madrid residency with three new dates in October
Madrid’s cultural agenda gains momentum this autumn with the expansion of Shakira’s concert run, which adds three new dates and brings her concerts in the capital to nine.
The performances on 2, 3, and 4 October have been added to those already scheduled in September, following strong demand in the presale confirmed by Live Nation. The Las mujeres ya no lloran World Tour will thus conclude its European leg in Madrid, establishing Shakira’s show as one of the major musical events of the year.
The Iberdrola Music venue in Villaverde will host a large-scale production with capacity for 50,000 people and immersive technology. Surrounding it, the Macondo Park project is planned as a temporary space that will combine concerts, exhibitions, and cultural activities.
Ticket sales will be organised in phases, with staggered presales and a high expectation of full capacity on all dates. The impact of the event will be felt for weeks in the city’s cultural life.
The initiative reinforces the trend of decentralising cultural offerings and bringing major events to new neighbourhoods, positioning Madrid as one of Europe’s leading musical destinations.
