Thom Yorke and Mark Pritchard premiere their audiovisual universe in Barcelona

Next 9 May, Barcelona's Phenomena Experience cinema will host the Spanish premiere of Tall Tales, the film accompanying the first joint album by the Radiohead frontman and the iconic British producer, released by Warp Records.

Tall Tales was born in the pandemic's most introspective days: an exchange of files by email ended up shaping an album that travels beyond genres and borders. Yorke's ethereal voice floats over Pritchard's electronic textures, in a work that its author defines as «a place never inhabited before».

Visual artist Jonathan Zawada, a regular collaborator of Pritchard's, contributes the third dimension with a film that overflows the musical to become a complete sensory experience. A “modern fairy tale” that combines sounds, forms and emotions.

The premiere is part of the collaboration between Primavera Sound and MIRA Festival, two benchmarks of contemporary sound and visual art.
