Barcelona is preparing to welcome one of its most emblematic traditions: the 2026 Tres Tombs de Sant Antoni parade. The event, held since 1826, commemorates the feast day of Sant Antoni Abat on 17 January and brings together residents and visitors for a parade of carriages, horses and donkeys through the streets of the Sant Antoni neighbourhood and the city centre.

The main event will take place on Saturday 24 January 2026, as part of the Festa Major de Sant Antoni, which runs from 16 to 25 January. The day will begin at 10:45 with the proclamation in front of Escola Pia de Sant Antoni, accompanied by a performance from Gegants de Sant Antoni. The traditional parade will then begin.

The Tres Tombs route will cross emblematic avenues and streets: avinguda del Paral·lel, carrer de Tamarit, Comte Borrell, Parlament, ronda de Sant Pau, ronda de Sant Antoni, Villarroel, Floridablanca, ronda de Sant Antoni, plaza de la Universitat, carrer de Pelai, la Rambla, carrer de l’Hospital, Sant Antoni Abat, Manso, avinguda del Paral·lel and plaza de Josep Puig i Cadafalch. The parade will take place between 10:45 and 13:30.

The celebration forms part of the Cicle Festiu de Sant Antoni, which this year runs from 10 January to 1 February 2026. During this period, different Barcelona neighbourhoods host popular activities and festivities, such as Festa Major de Sant Antoni, Tres Tombs de Sant Andreu, Tres Tombs Infernals, Porkada del Clot and Foguerons de Gràcia.
