Torrejón abruptly ends the festival season and cancels three major events

The authorities in Torrejón de Ardoz have decided to drastically reduce the number of major festivals after numerous complaints from residents about noise, crowds and the persistent lack of parking. Of the four events planned in the city, only one will remain: elrow Town, to be held on 1 May 2026.

The Brava Madrid, Madrid Salvaje and Torrejón Summer Fest festivals have officially been removed from the programme. The City Council explains the decision by its wish to preserve comfort in neighbourhoods, and points out that the city is already famous for its intensive free celebrations, from Navidades Mágicas to popular and patron-saint festivities.

At the same time, the administration has cut back the entire calendar of major events for 2026. From March to October there will be an almost total pause, with rare exceptions during the period of municipal festivities.
