Three Barcelona bars make the list of the world's 100 best

The new edition of The World’s Best Bars 2025 list has included three establishments in the city between positions 51 and 100: Dr. Stravinsky (83), the historic Boadas (85) and Foco, which makes its debut in the ranking at number 89.

The prestigious list, compiled from the votes of more than 800 industry experts, has become a global benchmark. And the Catalan capital not only maintains a presence, but could strengthen it. On 8 October, at a ceremony in Hong Kong, the bars occupying the top 50 will be announced, where more Barcelona venues are very likely to appear.

The city’s prominence is no coincidence. Barcelona has spent years consolidating itself as a global cocktail capital. In 2023, Sips Drinkery House reached number one in the world and, although it fell to third place in 2024, it remains on the podium. This track record confirms that innovation, talent and tradition coexist in a scene that never ceases to surprise.

With century-old classics and new avant-garde proposals, Barcelona shows that its bar culture continues to set trends on a global scale.
