Autocine Madrid hosts the launch of Ballantine's x COLORS with 2,000 attendees

Madrid gains a musical event with a clear youthful, urban accent. Next Wednesday, Autocine Madrid will host the launch of the global collaboration between Ballantine's and COLORSxSTUDIOS, a format designed to bring artists and audiences together in an open space, with capacity for around 2,000 people and an aesthetic closely linked to digital culture.

The night’s main draw will be Ca7riel y Paco Amoroso, the Argentine duo that has turned its blend of trap, funk, pop, rock and stage presence into one of the most recognisable phenomena in contemporary Latin music. Their appearance in Madrid reinforces the city’s connection with an increasingly international scene, where urban sounds travel quickly between Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Mexico City and the Spanish capital.

The programme will begin at 19:00 and will not be limited to a single name. Blanco Palamera, Lua de Santana and Merca Bae complete the line-up with proposals that broaden the night’s character, spanning electronic music, alternative pop, Latin rhythms and contemporary production. The idea is for the event to work more as a complete musical experience than as a traditional concert.

Tickets are already available through True Music’s official platforms for an event that aims to bring together young audiences, followers of the alternative scene and people accustomed to discovering artists through videos, viral sessions and live clips rather than through the classic circuits.

The collaboration will also have a second life at La Casa Encendida with Tones of Madrid, a parallel programme running from 26 to 28 May. For three days there will be double sessions, from 12:30 to 16:30 and from 19:00 to 23:00, with shared listening sessions, creative gatherings and participation by collectives such as Nítido, ÔYÔFÊ Collective and Antídoto Club.

Access to these activities will be by prior pass until capacity is reached, reinforcing the project’s more intimate, community character. Each day will be rounded off with DJ sets, creating a programme that blends listening, conversation and Madrid nightlife without separating everything into overly rigid compartments.

The choice of La Casa Encendida does not seem accidental. The Lavapiés cultural centre has for years served as a meeting point for projects that cross music, art, thought and the independent scene. In a city where large concerts increasingly coexist with small, hybrid and participatory formats, proposals like this show the direction in which part of Madrid’s youth culture is moving.
