Ballet, Spanish dance and chamber music come to Condeduque

The show proposes a direct dialogue between the dancers and musicians, who will share the stage for approximately 100 minutes. The intention is to erase the boundaries between concert and choreographic performance, offering an experience in which both languages carry equal weight.

The artistic direction will be in the hands of Joaquín de Luz, one of the most recognised figures in Spanish ballet. The musical side will be led by Vasko Vassilev, former principal concertmaster at London's Royal Opera House and also responsible for the Covent Garden Soloists ensemble.

The cast will bring together Estela Alonso, Sergio Bernal, Patricia Donn, Héctor Ferrer, Yanier Gómez, José Maldonado and Shani Peretz. The programme will include compositions by authors such as Corelli, Bach, Saint-Saëns and Manuel de Falla, adapted to movement and to the different disciplines present on stage.

Both performances will begin at 22:00, although access to the venue will be open from 21:00. Tickets start at 18 euros and can be purchased for either of the two nights scheduled as part of the summer programme.

The Patio Central de Condeduque also adds a special element to the proposal. Its historic architecture and intimate character make it possible to enjoy dance and music outdoors without leaving the urban surroundings of Malasaña and Conde Duque.

The combination of national and international artists makes the premiere an opportunity to experience both the classical repertoire and more contemporary languages. It is not necessary to be a regular ballet audience member to follow a production conceived as a complete stage experience.

Condeduque thus reinforces its role within Veranos de la Villa with an event that escapes the traditional concert format. Two nights in which instruments, bodies and architecture will share the spotlight under Madrid's sky.
