Condeduque hosts CÚBIT, the festival that brings together science, art, and artificial intelligence
Madrid's cultural calendar features a new event that connects technology and artistic creation. The Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Condeduque is hosting the CÚBIT. Ciencia + Arte festival this week, an event that puts artificial intelligence at the heart of the cultural debate.
From 23 to 30 May, the space becomes an open laboratory where the public can experience how algorithms influence creativity. The programme combines performances, workshops, and discussions that invite reflection on the role of machines in contemporary art.
Highlights include the robotic dance Famulus 4.0 by the Iron Skulls collective, the digital puppet theatre of The Big Bang, and stage pieces by artists such as Carla Nyman, Lluna Issá Casterà, and Amir Yatziv. There are also AI writing workshops, allowing the public to interact directly with these tools. The festival offers a diverse journey from performance to technological experimentation, with activities designed both for specialists and for those discovering this kind of event for the first time.
