A cultural passport for those born in 2007: they can now apply for the €400 Youth Cultural Bonus
Turning 18 comes with a gift: people born in 2007 can now apply for the 2025 Youth Cultural Bonus, a card with €400 to spend exclusively on culture.
Books, concerts, theatre, cinema, press, video games or digital platforms… everything fits into this invitation from the Ministerio de Cultura to explore, discover and enjoy the cultural world.
From this 16 June until 31 October, young people who come of age this year can apply for the aid by registering at bonoculturaljoven.gob.es. The process is quick and simple, and can be completed with a digital certificate, Cl@ve or email.
The amount, divided into three blocks —€100 for physical products, €100 for digital consumption and €200 for live performances—, can be spent over 12 months at more than 3,700 participating establishments across Spain.
The voucher, introduced in 2022, has steadily gained more users, and in this fourth edition the Government has allocated €170,000,000 to continue bringing culture closer to the younger generation. Because culture is also celebrated, shared… and now, given as a gift.
