Madrid adds an interactive musical show mixing humour, dance and generational classics

The show, starring Soraya Arnelas, Diana Hoyos, Nerea Rodríguez, Lorena Calero and Edgar Caro, begins as an everyday conversation that quickly turns into an energetic musical journey.

The repertoire connects decades and styles. Spanish pop-rock anthems such as ‘Voy a pasármelo bien’ and ‘No controles’ are heard alongside international classics such as Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive’ and Cher’s ‘Believe’. There is also room for contemporary artists such as Shakira and Karol G.

The format combines live music, choreography and costume changes with an 1980s aesthetic marked by neon lights and sequins. Humour, provided by Edgar Caro, keeps the pace between songs and strengthens the connection with the audience.

One of the show's strengths is its participatory character. Attendees do not just sing from their seats; they can become part of the show, going up on stage and turning the experience into a shared one.

Performances run until 19 June, with tickets from 38.50 euros. For almost two hours, the theatre fills with groups of friends and couples who find in music a common point between past and present.

The Gran Teatro Caixabank Príncipe Pío is thus consolidating its position as one of the key venues for different cultural offerings. Its programme reflects a city that embraces collective experiences, where leisure is lived as an encounter between generations and styles.
