Balloon Museum comes to Madrid with an immersive exhibition that turns art into an experience

Madrid’s cultural calendar adds a proposal that breaks with traditional formats. The Euphoria – Art is in the Air exhibition, promoted by Balloon Museum, arrives in the city with an immersive experience based on air, interaction and surprise.

From 28 March to 6 September, the Casa de Campo Exhibition Centre hosts this exhibition, which has already visited cities such as New York, London and Paris, attracting millions of visitors.

The route includes 14 large-format installations in the Puerta del Ángel Space, where the public do not merely observe but actively take part. The works can be touched, moved and explored, in a proposal that combines contemporary art with a playful dimension uncommon in conventional exhibitions.

Artists such as Philippe Parreno, Martin Creed and Rafael Lozano-Hemmer have created some of the pieces, which integrate inflatable materials with light, sound and interactive technology. Motion sensors and visual effects reinforce the sense of immersion in each room.

Tickets start at 26 euros and the proposal is intended for all kinds of audiences, from those seeking different plans to families or groups of friends who want to experience art directly.

The arrival of this project reinforces a clear trend in the city: the rise of participatory cultural experiences that transform the relationship between the viewer and the work. Madrid is thus expanding its offering with formats that combine creativity, technology and entertainment in one space.
